Fulfills Childbirth Education requirement to complete Birth Doula Certification. Designed to meet the learning needs of Doulas.

Covers childbirth education information, the physiological, emotional and hormonal components of labor and birth and includes evidence-based information that is relative to the childbirth process today.

Class can be taken alone or in combination to Birth Doula Workshop.

Attending this class will complete ONE step towards DONA Birth Doula Certification.

Required to become a DONA Certified Doula and includes topics to prepare future Doulas for working in various birth settings. Intro Class NOT Included.

Covers evidence-based information about the benefits of doula support, the history of birth, the significance of doula support to families, demonstration & simulation of practical techniques that include hands-on comfort measures, labor relief strategies and birthing (pushing) positions commonly used by Doulas when assisting clients and expert advice and guidance on steps to begin a career as a Birth Doula.
