    1 Day Class Intensive (8 hours)
    2-Part Weeknight Course (4 hours per night)
  • Attendance constitutes one step towards Certification.
  • Fulfills Childbirth Education requirement to complete Birth Doula Certification. Designed to meet the learning needs of Doulas.
  • Covers childbirth education information, the physiological, emotional and hormonal components of labor and birth and includes evidence-based information that is relative to the childbirth process today.
  • Class can be taken alone or in combination to Birth Doula Workshop.

  • Attendance constitutes ONE step towards Certification.
  • Required to become a DONA Certified Doula and includes topics to prepare future Doulas for working in various birth settings. Intro Class NOT Included.
  • Covers evidence-based information about the benefits of doula support, the history of birth, the significance of doula support to families, demonstration & simulation of practical techniques that include hands-on comfort measures, labor relief strategies and birthing (pushing) positions commonly used by Doulas when assisting clients and expert advice and guidance on steps to begin a career as a Birth Doula.
