What Is A Postpartum Doula?

A Postpartum Doula (PD) is a certified and experienced Postpartum Professional who provides education, support and day or night newborn care.  A Mother’s Care Postpartum Doula provides information on maternal recovery measures after a vaginal or surgical birth, infant feeding information including breastfeeding education and guidance.  Your Postpartum Doula will also provide infant care for your baby (diapering, bathing, sleep and calming techniques) and so much more!

What Is Included In The
Postpartum Doula Service?

A Postpartum Doula provides non-medical, physical and emotional support and light household assistance (related to caring for your baby) after the birth of your term (37+ weeks) infant.  An MC Doula will focus on helping you recover by providing education and information on natural self-recovery measures, baby care (diapering, bathing, etc.), breastfeeding education and support, bottle-feeding guidance, advice on sleep/calm techniques and more!

Weekday Postpartum Packages

$ 48.00 - $ 55.00 Per Hour
  • Current Pricing may differ from Pricing Above.  Contact us for our Most Updated Pricing.

  • MONDAY - THURSDAY

  • Hours Can Be Used for Daytime OR Nighttime

  • Minimum Hours Per Shift: 6 Hours

  • 12, 24, 36, 48 & 100 Hour Packages

  • Certified and experienced Postpartum Professional who provides education and support with maternal recovery measures after a vaginal or surgical birth along with providing the care you would expect for your infant.

  • Infant care includes (but is not limited to):  

    - Breastfeeding education, support & guidance;

    - Pumping education, support & guidance (if needed);

    - Formula education, support & guidance including: washing/sterilizing bottles & feeding accessories & feeding your baby so you can rest (if this is your preference);

    - routine infant care (diapering, bathing, burping, sleep and calming techniques)

  • FRIDAY - SUNDAY or HOLIDAYS

  • Hours Can Be Used for Daytime OR Nighttime

  • Minimum Hours Per Shift: 6 Hours

  • Weekend / Holiday Hours Must be Purchased Separately

  • Certified and experienced Postpartum Professional who provides education and support with maternal recovery measures after a vaginal or surgical birth along with providing the care you would expect for your infant.

  • Infant care includes (but is not limited to):  

    - Breastfeeding education, support & guidance;

    - Pumping education, support & guidance (if needed);
