What Is A Postpartum Doula?

MC Postpartum Doulas are trained and experienced postpartum professionals who provide personalized physical, emotional and informational support as your family adjusts to life with a new baby. Care may be provided during the day or overnight and is tailored to the individual needs of you, your baby and your family.

Our Doulas support maternal recovery, newborn care, feeding and the many adjustments that come with the early postpartum period. From breastfeeding and infant-feeding guidance to soothing, sleep, bathing and everyday newborn care, your Doula provides hands-on support, education and reassurance to help you feel more rested, confident and supported as you settle into your new rhythm at home.

Weekday Postpartum Packages

MONDAY - THURSDAY
Hours Can Be Used for Daytime OR Nighttime
Minimum Hours Per Shift: 6 Hours
12, 24, 36, 48 & 100 Hour Packages
Certified and experienced Postpartum Professional who provides education and support with maternal recovery measures after a vaginal or surgical birth along with providing the care you would expect for your infant.
Infant care includes (but is not limited to):

- Breastfeeding education, support & guidance;

- Pumping education, support & guidance (if needed);

- Formula education, support & guidance including: washing/sterilizing bottles & feeding accessories & feeding your baby so you can rest (if this is your preference);

- routine infant care (diapering, bathing, burping, sleep and calming techniques)

FRIDAY - SUNDAY or HOLIDAYS
Hours Can Be Used for Daytime OR Nighttime
Minimum Hours Per Shift: 6 Hours
Weekend / Holiday Hours Must be Purchased Separately
Certified and experienced Postpartum Professional who provides education and support with maternal recovery measures after a vaginal or surgical birth along with providing the care you would expect for your infant.
Infant care includes (but is not limited to):
