Established in 1998 by Dr. Marlo Robinson (whom we affectionately call, "Mama Doula"), Mother's Care has become a leader in Doula Care, Prenatal Education and in training and preparing future Doulas.  Marlo began working within the birthing community as a Labor & Delivery Nurse.  It was during her time as a Nurse that the gaps in our healthcare system became evident. The need for continuous support from someone who trusted the birth process, could confidently and knowingly provide guidance and who understood the physiological, emotional, mental and even spiritual elements of birth was missing in modern maternity care.  She established Mother's Care Doula Services, Inc. to meet this need and provide clients birthing in South Florida with expert Doula care from wise, trained and trusted professionals. Since its "birth", Mother's Care has created company standards that set us apart.  We firmly believe that everyone deserves a safe, healthy and empowered birth.  MC has worked tirelessly to make a lasting imprint on our birthing culture and local community.  We strive to make positive impacts on labor support, maternal mortality, breastfeeding outcomes, vaginal birth success after surgical birth, postpartum recovery and in other important areas of maternity, pediatric and postpartum care.
